HORTICULTURAL ARGONOMY SPECIALIST

Looking for farming advice? I have spent the majority of my life involved in agriculture and have a passion for growing plants. I understand the struggles of starting your own farm, the confusion of reviewing research and tests, and the difficulty to find good resources for small-scale agriculture. My goal is to guide more farmers towards profitable and sustainable systems to meet the consumption demands of our communities.

With two Prairie Horticulture Certificates and my Bachelor of Science major in Horticulture and minor in Soil Science from the University of Saskatchewan (2019), I specialize in production horticulture focusing on organic and soil-health based systems. Basic knowledge in animal husbandry through experience on our family’s farm has also allowed me to incorporate livestock situations for nutrient management and farm sustainability. While away for university (and hockey), I was able to develop and grow my own successful farm business to expand my knowledge outside of the classroom in the tough skills of growing food and entrepreneurship.

WITH THE POPULATION OF FARMERS AGING, WE ARE ON A MISSION TO GUIDE THE NEXT GENERATION OF SUSTAINABLE FARMERS.
